Food Service and Nutrition Education
Student’s health and nourishment is our primary goal, Kanakia International School strongly believes in food safety. Hence, we try our best to serve our young learners food that is free from chemicals, additives, artificial colors and preservatives. We also get our food periodically tested on microbiological parameters from a reputed lab to ensure food safety of our students.
Our school understands the adverse effect of junk food on kids thus, we have a strict NO JUNK Food policy at the school canteen. Learners are encouraged to choose food from the green zone food options. A monthly cyclic menu is planned by our school Dietician. There is a well designed and big dining area where learners can enjoy the canteen food.
Student Counsellor
At Kanakia International School, our student counsellor provides a supportive and non-judgmental space for students to discuss their emotions, concerns, feelings, and goals. With years of experience and a passion for empowering students to reach their full potential, Our special educator develops personalised learning plans, provides individualized instruction, and collaborates with teachers to ensure a seamless integration of special education services. They are also committed to foster a sense of belonging, confidence, and independence in our students.
Infirmary
Kanakia International School understands that students' health and wellbeing is of utmost importance. However, it is also true that children are often at higher risk of catching infections and falling prey to minor mishaps. Hence, our school infirmary is a safe and caring space where students can receive medical attention and support in time of emergency. The trained nurse available on campus provides prompt treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, and facilitates referrals to external medical services if necessary. At RBK School, we prioritize the health, well-being, and safety of all students, and work closely with parents and guardians to ensure seamless care and communication.
Library
Kanakia International School library is a vibrant hub for learning, imagining, and exploring. Horticulture
The horticulture program at Kanakia International School introduces students to the wonders of plant growth, care, and management from a young age. Through hands-on activities and experiments, students as young as 6 years old, get a chance to explore and learn about soil science, plant anatomy, and sustainable gardening practices. By cultivating their own plants, students develop essential skills in observation, critical thinking, and environmental stewardship. At the Horticulture program, students also discover the importance of sustainable gardening practices and environmental conservation. Play Lab
In our play labs, Kanakia Kids students embark on exciting adventures that spark imagination, creativity, and learning. Designed to mimic real-life scenarios, our play-based learning spaces introduce young minds to various roles and environments, such as hospitals, post offices, bakeries, and more alongside different play elements such as bicycles, play house, etc. Through interactive play, students develop essential skills like problem-solving, communication, and empathy, while building confidence and a love for learning.
