Galileo Galilei (nicknamed as “GiGi the Giraffei“)
Galileo, the “Father of Modern Science” had a multifaceted personality being an Astronomer, Physicist, Professor and Engineer.
“GiGi” our mascot personifies the qualities of this great personality and is a life-long learner, curious, independent thinker and open-minded towards new lines of inquiry. Being of scientific temper, GiGi possesses a diverse perspective and works in collaboration, holding his head high and values that make him unique and a better global learner.
PLAY accompanies all the activities under the school’s curriculum that encapsulates the overall learning experiences of our learners.
In Reggio it is said that a child is born with a hundred languages through which they express themselves. Inspired by this thought, Kanakia Kids has incorporated the best from Reggio philosophy which helps children in developing a plethora of skills through freedom and thereby gaining confidence.
Kanakia Kids focuses on the wholesome development of children. Activities like role play and enactments help children in developing communication skills. For example, working with the fastening frames and lacing boards help children in independently wearing shoes and clothes.
